New Social Pages and an Open House!

First - we want to welcome new Manager George Shea! He’s been with us for 3 months now and we can’t decide if we’re more excited or he is! George has some great ideas and embraces the true character and nature of the Gallery created by Vic and RuthAnn Brown and their family. He has picked up the torch and is running with it - figuratively of course, as running with an actual open flame torch would be quite risky around our beautiful art pieces and hand carved furniture. We are looking forward to what he and his team can bring to not only the Gallery that you all know and love but also to the community.

Community brings us to our next item of business - New Social Pages!
As we venture into the next chapter we are building new ways to keep in touch with community and that includes Facebook and Instagram. We want to share the info on artisan pieces and their creators, news of new exhibitors, details on what we’re up to including events and all the offerings of the Gallery. Watch this page next week for links to those new pages and exciting perks for those who share the love! The best way to spread news is still word of mouth, today’s day & age that includes ‘digitally speaking’!

We want to spread that news as fast and as far as possible because.. we have an OPEN HOUSE coming up! We welcome friends, family, locals, travelers, strangers that will soon be friends, and all to join us on Saturday, September 16th from Noon to 4pm. We’ll have some artist features, specials, wine and cocktail tastings, giveaways and more! We picked that date for good reason - the Augusta Harvest Festival! One of our favorite events of the season inspired us to get in on the festivities and celebrate this historic town. The Harvest Festival kicks off Friday, September 15th with Swingin’ in the Vines - get your tickets! This event sells out quick! Saturday morning the Harvest Parade will make its way through town at 11am. After the parade come see us for our Open House, venture over to the Augusta Clothing Company for a new outfit or to accessorize your weekend, hit up the Augusta Emporium for some fun gift ideas and snacks all while enjoying live music and other fun festivities in town. Finally, be sure to get tickets to the Fruit of the Harvest Dinner to finish the evening. For more info on the Harvest Festival or to snag tickets to those two tickets events click HERE.

We packed a lot of info into this first official blog of the Summer! It’s so great to connect isn’t it?! Keep an eye out for those new social page links and more info on our Open House. In the meantime, stop by and see what we’ve been up to in the Gallery and give George a welcome high five! See you soon!
