This image was captured in the identical location that Ansel Adams had taken his famous image of the same.  Of course the river was more exposed, and trees were less grown over.  Dan enjoyed spending time here alone in the early afternoon (perhaps not the best time for the best photograph), contemplating what Mr. Adams might have been thinking as he took absorbed the beauty of this scene.
