Two years ago Dan learned of the Antelope Canyon area on the Navajo reservation located in north central Arizona.  Visitors are required to have an Indian guide to go into these "slot canyons" for safety after a number of folks didn't survive the swift water created by heavy rains.  He hired a guide and ventured into four of these canyons, including the Lower Antelope where this images was taken.  There were quite a number of visitors there as well but my guide was able to get them moved out of the way so he could capture this image at just the right time.  It only occurs on certain days and then only for a couple of minutes.  One must be in just the right place at the right time to see this. He was fortunate.
